Make your own hair mask while at home!

Qurez brings to you easy DIY projects which anybody can do while staying at home. Here I present to you three easy DIY Hair masks with ingredients which most of us will have it in our gardens. 

1. Hibiscus-Curry Leaves Hair Mask for strengthening hair roots

All you need to make this nourishing hair mask is just 4 ingredients! 

  • Aloe Vera
  • Curry leaves
  • Hibiscus leaves
  • Coconut oil

Let's whip some hair mask! 

 In a blender, 

  • Add one teaspoon of Coconut oil
  • Add the Aloe Vera gel 
  • Add 4-5 Hibiscus leaves 
  • Add 6-7 small sized Curry leaves

*(Make sure to rinse the leaves and then add it in the blender)

Add some water or coconut oil for further dilution if required.

For those who are allergic to Aloe Vera, this hair mask can also be made without Aloe too!

Now add the hair mask onto your scalp and leave it for 45 minutes and rinse it with a Natural shampoo, you can use Qurez 7 herbs shampoo bar 

2. Lemon and Ginger Hair Mask for dandruff free Hair

A very easy hair mask to get rid off dandruff, you will need only 3 ingredients which are easily available in your kitchen.

  • 1 Lemon 
  • A small piece of Ginger
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil 

How to make Ginger Lemon Hair Mask

Squeeze the Lemon into a bowl with Coconut oil and grate some Ginger and squeeze out its juice into the Coconut oil and Lemon mixture. Mix well and apply to your scalp. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with a good shampoo bar. You can try our Vegan Keratin and Lavender Shampoo bar which is infused with salicylic acid to prevent dandruff.

3. Orange Peel and Aloe Refreshing Hair Mask to add that shine to your hair

How to make this refreshing hair mask 

Blend few Orange peels, Aloe gel/ freshly cut Aloe and 2 tablespoon of Coconut oil and 3 drops of Lemongrass essential oil and 4 tablespoon of water for dilution. 

Add more water for dilution if required.

For those who are allergic to Aloe Vera, this hair mask can also be made without Aloe too!

This mask can also be used on face and body for a refreshing bath and glowing skin.

What's the role of the ingredients on your hair? 

Coconut oil 

Coconut oil
As we all know this oil is said to initiate hair growth. Apart from hair growth, it adds shine to your hair. It also treats dandruff and itchy scalp. 

Aloe Vera 

Aloe Vera
It acts as a great hair conditioner, has similar properties to that of Coconut oil. It helps in cleansing your hair follicles, it strips down excess sebum secretion on your scalp thereby maintaining the natural oil on your scalp! 

Hibiscus leaves 

Hibiscus leaves
Not many know the benefits of these leaves, these leaves help in adding thickness to your hair thereby increasing the volume of your hair. It also helps in decreasing hair-fall which many of us dread about! It is rich in amino acids, it helps in locking the luster in your hair and strengthening your hair roots. 

Curry leaves

Curry leaves
Mostly known to be used in cooking but these leaves also help in locking moisture in the scalp thereby not giving rise to dry, flaky scalp! It also helps in strengthening the hair roots thereby decreasing the chances of hair fall. 

Lemon

We all know that lemon is rich in Vitamin C, it has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties which helps in clarifying hair follicles and removes dirt and dandruff from your hair in just one wash.

Ginger

Ginger

Ginger has very powerful medicinal propertiesIt cures dandruff and controls itchy scalp issues. It also gives your hair a natural shine and helps to stimulate hair follicles which in turn promotes hair growth.

Orange Peel

Orange Peel is used on the scalp to reduce dandruff and balance oil. It helps to condition your hair and cleanse the scalp. It also exfoliates the skin, removes dead skin cells and helps in preventing acne. Oranges also have Vitamin A, which, along with Vitamin C, helps in removing sunburn and tan.
